LIP BLUSH

WHAT IS LIP PIGMENTATION?

With semi-permanent make-up, pigments are injected into the skin with an ultra-thin needle. The technique is similar to tattooing, but the pigment is placed less deeply into the skin. This ensures that the pigment does not turn blue as with tattoos, but fades gradually and evenly over time.

WHY LIP PIGMENTATION?

Lips are an essential part of the face and can completely change the appearance of a face. Over the years, the lips lose color and contour lines, which can lead to an older appearance. Contour lines can also fade through the use of lip fillers. The solution is permanent makeup on the lips. By pigmenting the lips, the natural color and contours can be restored, making the lips look fuller and more youthful. In addition, this technique can also help to optically enlarge the lips, which further improves the overall appearance of the face.

NATURAL RESULT

Permanent make-up on the lips is a popular solution for those looking for a natural result. After the healing process, a subtle but visible blush is created on the lips or, if desired, the effect of a permanent lipstick for a more intense result. Depending on skin factors, lifestyle and age, permanent make-up on the lips remains visible for 3 to 5 years.

To maintain the color intensity and prolong the freshness of the lip pigmentation, it is recommended to undergo a touch-up treatment after this period. This way, the lips continue to look beautiful and the face retains its youthful appearance. Are you considering permanent make-up on your lips? Then choose this technique for a beautiful and natural result.

Lip blush is suitable for:
  • Correction of cleft lip
  • Restore asymmetrical lips
  • Restore faded lip contours
  • Restore (pale) lip colour
  • Allergy/sensitivity to make-up

POSSIBILITIES

Lips are always drawn in advance to determine the desired shape and color.
Various techniques are possible within lip pigmentation

Lip pigmentation ‘Full lips’

With the full lips treatment, the lips are completely colored in with a striking color. You also have the choice to have the contours of the lips visible or not. It is important to know that lip pigmentation is not a replacement for lipstick. It does not provide the intense and compact coverage of a lipstick, but it is possible to choose a striking, sparkling color that provides more coverage than a nude color or a lip blush.

Lip pigmentation ‘Lip blush’

A lip blush gives the most natural result. During the treatment, a wafer-thin contour is made. The lips are then fully pigmented with a natural color. The contours are not clearly visible after the healing process, which makes the healed result look very natural.

Lip enlightenment

It is also possible to apply lip pigmentation to dark lips or dark spots on the lips. Dark lips do however require more treatments to achieve the desired result (minimum 3). During the first 2 treatments, the lips are neutralized with a neutralizing color. In the 3rd treatment, the desired color can be applied.

THE TREATMENT

A treatment takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. This includes intake, preliminary drawing and the execution of the treatment itself. After 6 weeks, a touch-up treatment will be planned to check and perfect the result.

During the intake, your wishes and expectations are discussed. The shape of the eyes is critically examined and a sincere and personal advice is drawn up that is tailored to your skin type, age and personal wishes.

After the desired color has been determined, the lips are accurately measured and pre-drawn to determine the desired shape. We do this by applying the chosen pigment to your lips with a brush. This way you get a clear picture of the style and color. The starting point is to keep the lips as natural as possible and to get the best out of the shape of your own lips.

The treatment only starts after you are satisfied and have approved the design. A PMU treatment is noticeable but is generally not experienced as painful.

The lip pigmentation will significantly decrease in color. This is a normal process. In the 2nd treatment, the pigmentation is updated to perfect the lips and possibly give the color a little more intensity. In exceptional cases, a 3rd treatment is necessary.
